Stanislas-Victor-Edouard Lepine Biography

Stanislas-Victor-Edouard Lepine executed many views of Paris from the heights of Montmartre where he lived.

Lepine was born in Caen, Normandy. He was student of the landscape painter Jean-Bapiste-Camille Corot (1796-1873) and retained much of his master?s delicacy in the depiction of light and atmosphere.
