In Spring by Tissot two young ladies relax on the lawn with fishing poles (?), while a girl appears to be climbing a tree. There is a parosol, a straw hat, and a book, along with other little objects, around them. Tissot seemed to like painting women wearing black and white checkered or striped dresses.
